Todogrowled products ain’t the most sexy design appealing —the brand strength is to achieve the best quality and efficiency for the lowest price, so product design is not in the same bucket—. The biggest challenge in this project was to show an unattractive very expensive technologic product that seems not updated precisely as the best option to grow very expensive seeds and get the best results in three months (and should last at least 5 years old).

One of the most fatal problems for potential clients was to visualice the range of products available. Almost all the lights look the same so we had to focus in the main spectrum colors in each model. This way the regular one identifies as a yellow and the warmer one, even if it wasn’t possible to see without a light measurement tool, was an orange. Applying this color system the clients started to understand the different kinds of lights and we were able to create simple infographics to explain the characteristics of every different product.

As we were using many colors, illustrations, photos, lettering, etc. we decided to be very functional and neutral with the font so we asigned Roboto as the corporative one for website and printed flyers and inserts.

As we said before, the catalogue of Todogrowled was not easy to understand since there were MANY variable characteristics in each product such as power, intensity, distance from the grow, lumens, spectrum… So infographics were an essential part of the usual communication for social media or to inform to the people reaching us out to ask questions about the lights.

Apart from the common infographics each product has its own branding. All the different lights were assigned a personality and a logo with its own colors so clients can easily identify them even if they were not familiarised with any new lights.
